Terms of Service
Effective and last updated:
These terms govern your use of SignalForge’s website, private keyword research workspace, backend API, and Chrome extension. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must be authorized to do so.
1. The service
SignalForge is operated by SignalForge Dev Team. It provides keyword-demand research, saved lists and retrieval history, domain research, and a Google search overlay. Access is administrator-managed. Features and provider coverage may evolve. There is currently no self-service billing or subscription checkout; any future paid offering will have separately disclosed pricing and conditions.
2. Access and credentials
Only administrators may issue or revoke extension access tokens. Use only tokens issued to you for an authorized purpose, protect them from disclosure, and do not resell or publicly distribute access. Administrators are responsible for managing junior users and their permissions. The current workspace shares research with its administrators and is not a tenant-isolated service.
Use a trusted backend and keep provider credentials server-side. Never embed Google Ads or Ahrefs secrets in the extension, public code, or exported research. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly. You must have permission to use connected Google Ads accounts and any information submitted to the service.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the service lawfully and respect Google, Ahrefs, registry, and website terms applicable to your activity.
- Do not bypass authentication, quotas, queues, rate limits, or revoked access.
- Do not probe other users’ credentials, attack infrastructure, distribute malware, or use the API to overload providers or target websites.
- Do not submit personal or confidential information unless you have authority and it is necessary for an authorized use.
- Do not present calculated projections or third-party results as Google-provided facts.
We may suspend or revoke access to investigate abuse, protect the service, or comply with provider or legal requirements.
4. Data sources and limitations
Google Ads historical metrics are the primary search-demand source. They may be rounded, delayed, missing, or grouped with close variants. A returned zero remains zero; missing information is N/A. A zero from another provider is not proof of no demand. Country, language, reporting period, and retrieval date matter.
Ads competition measures paid advertising competition, not organic SEO difficulty. Top-of-page bid ranges and their calculated midpoint or weighted value are not a guaranteed CPC. Trends, rolling averages, commercial scores, organic visits, leads, and commercial-value estimates are SignalForge calculations or projections, not Google metrics or guarantees.
Ahrefs Domain Rating is a third-party metric. RDAP age measures registry registration age, not website launch age; a registry may not expose a usable registration date. Sitemap page counts reflect discovered public sitemap URLs, may be partial, and are not an exact count of all pages or pages indexed by Google. Observed result order is not a rank-tracking guarantee.
5. Availability and decisions
Provider permissions, API approval, quotas, outages, changes, and cache age affect availability. SignalForge does not guarantee uninterrupted service or complete, exact, or real-time data. Independently verify important findings before making SEO, advertising, or commercial decisions. We do not promise rankings, organic traffic, leads, or revenue.
6. Your research and third-party rights
You retain any rights you hold in research inputs and content you submit. You authorize SignalForge and its service providers to process and store them as needed to provide the service under the Privacy Policy. Google, Ahrefs, and other providers retain rights in their data, trademarks, and services. Export functionality does not grant unrestricted rights to redistribute or resell provider data. SignalForge is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Ahrefs.
7. Ending access and deleting information
You may stop using the service and disable or uninstall the extension. Ask an administrator to revoke your token. Contact support to request export or deletion of research you are authorized to manage. Revoking a token or Google grant does not automatically delete stored research. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Responsibility and applicable rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of suitability for a particular purpose, and SignalForge is not responsible for indirect losses or missed commercial opportunities resulting from reliance on research estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory applicable law takes precedence.
9. Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the service changes, publishing a revised effective date and providing notice of material changes where required. Contact the team with questions or disputes so we can seek a practical resolution. Future services involving payments or materially different data practices will require updated disclosures.
